At Innovative Early Learning our services are privately owned and offer inclusive and loving environments which encompass holistic and natural approaches to Early Childhood Education and Care. Our qualified Educators cater for all children aged from 6 weeks to 6 years and offer many experiences to encourage all levels and aspects of Early Childhood development, within our services we thrive on using an emergent curriculum, where we bring the children to the knowledge not the knowledge to the child, this approach allows the children to be empowered and supported to investigate and extend on their own ideas.

Our aim is to provide children with a sense of belonging in an enriching, challenging, stimulating and safe environment where they can learn, gain confidence and resilience and develop at their own pace with ongoing support, love and encouragement.

Innovative Early Learning services provide many one on one and group activities which stimulate the development of young minds, all of our programmes are tailored to suit the needs of each child as an individual and are guided by the Early Years Learning Framework, Belonging, Being and Becoming, we are also proud to adopt aspects of the New Zealand Early Childhood Curriculum, Te Whariki within our daily routine and practices in our services. Our Educators utilise many teaching techniques and thrive on the use of natural resources, heuristic and loose parts play. Natural resources encourage our children to freely explore and extend their imaginations as they use materials in many different ways, while loose parts encourage a wide range of play behaviours which include dramatic play, symbolic play, constructive play and social play and encourage a child’s interest to learn.

Innovative Early Learning services have an open door policy and actively provide a home away from home environment; we proudly embrace all cultures and value the consistent and trusting relationships we create with our families and the knowledge they can provide us which assists us to achieve the highest quality of care, all of the children at Innovative Early Learning enjoy a seamless transition throughout the different age grouped classrooms in the services and benefit from our interest based and child centred learning approach.
